I see a desert where the city used to be
A broken mass of concrete waste and radioactivity!
I see an unforgiving mother nature cries
Her tear stained face shows much regret, for all
All our wasted lives!
I see we're bent on self destruction in the west
The human race, nature's disgrace, that failed to pass the test!
I see so many hungry faces are in need
Their starving form bears witness, to a world
A world that's full of greed!
Supper's on its way!
And so the judgement day!
And then what will we say?
We are all to blame! It's a sad, sad shame!
I see some ostriches with heads under the sand
Pretend that all is well, the bombs will never land
I see this reasoning is just a bloody farce
Cos while your head's under the sand, they'll stick one
Stick one up your arse!
What can we do about the problems, you and me?
We can do nothing by ourselves obviously!
But there's so many people that can shout, that can be heard!
So wake up all the ostriches! Get out and shout the word!
Wake up all the ostriches! If you want to save, save our world!
Supper's on its way!
And so the judgement day!
And then what will we say?
How can we justify this suicidal urge to die?
Who'll explain the reason why? We blew it!
Blew it all! Sky high!
