This world is in disgrace, it is such a mess
It seems the people that want to lead, think it is a contest
Some are so small in mind, some are just unkind
But they don’t understand, the way life is designed

There are life-principles, that enable us to be
Principles that work, to make humanity
Trillions of little parts, make up who you are
And if they don’t work together, you don’t get very far

But all we see and hear, every single day
Is people fighting for control, to get their own way
Obsessed with wanting to rule, and putting others down
When they should be helping to solve, the problems all around

Why don’t you work (work), work together
It’s more clever, to work as one
Don’t have to irk, just work together
It is better, to get things done

If we want to evolve, we must understand
There is just one humanity, and Earth is just one land
There is no us and them, except for in your mind
For on this tiny Earth, there is only mankind

The differences that we have, are seeded in your head
By those who say they’re fit to lead, and the nonsense we are fed
The stirring of the mud, and the vying with each other
Is no help to the common man, and the common man does suffer

And if you want to lead, you have to get it right
There are better things to do in life, than bitch, argue and fight
We have to learn to grow up (evolve) and do it like we should
Put our heads together, to work for the common good

So can you work (work), work together
It’s more clever, to get things done
