Let me tell you something, that we know is true
If your senses lied to you, you wouldn’t know what to do
Fall about in a drunken way, dazed and confused
Not knowing where you stood, you may, feel abused

That’s why we have to maintain, integrity
Understand the importance of, information accuracy
You don’t want bugs in your software, messing up your view
That’s why your system needs to work with what is true, what is true, keep it true

We see world leaders who are, lying through their teeth
Trying to distort things and corrupting our belief
They’ll tell you black is white, to justify their way
Seems we can’t trust them, or trust in what they say

It’s just not good enough
All this dishonest stuff
They do their dirty deeds, which they then deny
They should be leading lights, but instead they lie and lie and lie, yeh

Liar, pants on fire, liar, truth denier
Liar, nothing to admire, liar, unjustifier (INS) The devil’s crier

We see the people out there, trying to pervert what’s real
Undermining truth, with their excremental spiel
They spread their fake news, causing disarray
Try and blur reality, with the nonsense they purvey

Like a disease, that people spread around
Infecting us with lies, and making things (life) unsound
Destroying people's trust and ruining the feel
That’s why we like the truth and like to keep it real, keep it real. Get the feel!

If you don’t understand, the value of veracity
Take a decent trip, and try and grasp reality
You won’t know where you are, or which way to turn
This is the lesson, yes, the lesson we must learn

Understand the importance of, truth and honesty
That which we can back up with proof, and certainty
That’s what it takes to give our systems (software) some integrity
No room for bugs, or lying and dishonesty

So, keep it true, no matter what you do
Keep it just, don’t you know, don’t you know it’s a must
Keep it real, it’s a much nicer feel
Keep it true, don’t spoil the view
