We have our time, in this world, to learn our lessons in life
Some things we do, are not for the best, it just adds to the strife
But we are here, to gain some experience, so we know right from wrong
Everything depends on how we behave, and if we can get along

We shouldn’t do things, that hurt other people, because it’s not very nice
It’s so important that we learn this lesson, and take some good advice
Cos everything has a consequence, that impacts someone somewhere
We know we can’t be perfect, but we must try to care

But everybody makes mistakes, that’s how we learn what it takes
But what you don’t want to do, if you want to make it through
Is keep causing heartaches
Everybody likes to win, but that’s no reason to sin
If you can’t do it right, you won’t reach the light
And you won’t get in, no you won’t

Everyone likes to feel good, and that’s what we want from life
But not at other people’s expense, or if we cause them strife
It’s so important that we can show forgiveness, but only if it is earned
We have to show that we can be sincere and show that we have learned
