We come into this world, ready to record
As a blank device, we could be nice
But we are guided by those, who are running the show
There to help us to learn, what we need to know

Our leaders tell us how it's gonna be
And set the examples that we all see
But it’s no wonder things don’t look too bright
When our leaders aren’t quite right

Some only worship the big fat wad
Some spout their nonsense in the name of God
Some bully, oppress, aggress and aggrieve
Some lie through their teeth to deceive

Dodgy leaders, leading us astray, dodgy leaders, causing disarray
Dodgy leaders, can’t trust what they say, dodgy leaders, causing us dismay

Some want to take us to war, cos there’s, nothing better to do
Than to go and get killed, on a battlefield
We could be having fun, and getting on, with everyone
With no blood spilled, and we won’t get billed

Why do we have to waste so much on destruction
Oh yes, it’s because of some idiot’s instruction
People follow like robots to go and destroy
Wrecking others' lives and killing joy

How can we have such people rule
When they behave just like a criminal
When they’re so irresponsible
Leading the world to downfall, all because of

Dodgy leaders, leading us astray, dodgy leaders, causing disarray
Dodgy leaders, can’t trust what they say, dodgy leaders, they don’t know the way

It’s clear that we need a change, to rearrange
Our social management system, and get some wisdom
We don’t need the mess, and all the distress
This abomination, from administration

We need people in charge that we can trust
Who tell the truth and can be just
We need people who know how to care
People who know how to be fair

Leaders who don’t bully and oppress
Leaders who don’t cause untold mess
Who want to see the world unite
To live in peace and not to fight
Yes, we need some

Decent leaders, who understand the way, decent leaders, who won’t lead us astray
Decent leaders, can trust in what they say, decent leaders, who won’t cause disarray
