UNNECESSARY TRAFFIC LIGHTING
The unnecessary and poorly though out decision to spend public money on adding traffic lights to this perfectly good working roundabout which serves main arterial routes to Dartford, Crayford and Erith, as well as local traffic, has caused significant problems for residents and through traffic alike. The roundabout now gets clogged up with lorries and people cannot move at times even when the lights are green. This roundabout had been working perfectly well for years until the Council decided to put the traffic lights on it and created serious problems.
Very unhelpful scheme that causes many additional and unnecessary problems for residents in the area
- Causes 'logjamming' that clogs up the roundabout
- Causes unnecessary congestion and delays
- Stops people using their initiative
- Stops people unnecessarily
- Innefficient waste of public money
