JUNCTION MODIFICATION - ADDITION OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS

Undertaken together with Bridge Road

The junction modification at Colyers Lane was undertaken together with the junction modification at Bridge Road. Again simply to suit the buses, just like the one at Bridge Road, it comes with a whole stack of disadvantages for everyone else. It is inefficient and is causing problems that were not there before.

• Higher congestion factor
• More traffic lights for people trying to access Slade Green
• Causing considerable additional tail backs in Colyers Lane (note photo)
• No right turn into Colyers Lane
• Wastes people's time. Green unfriendly!
