The Danson Festival was a brilliant annual event. It provided opportunity for thousands to have a great weekend...

In 2014, without considering or consulting the public, Bexley Council decided to cancel the festival for that year, citing the unusually wet weather at the end of 2013 and its effect on the ground as the reason. The decision was made by one man, Councillor Don Massey.

Two years on and we are trying to find out why the festival is still not happening in 2016. Bexley Council have 'clammed up' and we are having difficulty in establishing the truth behind the course of events and the death of this wonderful family weekend...
