Don't make the mistake, of thinking that you are invincible
Don't take it for granted, that this world is the safest place
Don't think that your right, that your thinking is infallible
Or the things that you've done, may yet blow up in your face
All through the ages, so many men have tried to rule with might
Keep the people in cages, whom dare to disagree
Men with selfish understanding, who give the people of this world a fright
Think that they always know better, and telling us how to be
Terror is the result of human error
People make mistakes and others pay
The sinking of Titanic or the Liberty
Just slight misjudgements, OK?
So you think we've got it right, do you want to set the world alight
Take the Falklands, maybe Europe or the Middle-East
Do you think that it's so bright, do you feel you want to fight
Do you think that all this strife, is preferred to peace
The odd world war, to settle a score for vanity
The game has just begun, we learn to play
And all of these mistakes, could be irrelevant
Compared to that, which could come our way!
But there must come a time, when we realise it's all a waste
How many lives are sacrificed, before the penny drops?
The answer’s simple, staring us right in the face
The world will live in peace, when the fighting stops
Terror is the result of human error
People make mistakes and others pay
The sinking of Titanic or the Liberty
Just slight misjudgements, OK?
Do you want to split the Earth, do you think that’s all its worth
Can’t you control your urge, to have complete control?
Can’t you learn to share, and can't you learn to be fair?
Don’t think like an arse, just think like a soul!
