A long long time ago, a man a seed did sow
From which all life would grow, giving us life on Earth
He had so much to give, he liked to be creative
He wanted us to live and achieve some worth

He expected us to learn, he expected us to earn
He wanted us to take our turn, to learn to appreciate
He would not give for nought, you had to know what life’s about
There had to be no doubt, that you were worth your weight

But there were some that couldn’t care, and there were some that would not share
There were some that could not be fair, no matter what he gave
But he would give them all a chance, he would warn them in advance
And he could tell just at a glance, if they should be saved

They would be no good to him, if they were full of sin
He wondered how he could begin to get them to behave
He would try and lead the way, he did come along and stay
He had some things that he had to say to save them from the grave, he said

Just give it some thought, do you want to save your face?
It’s all for one or all for none, we are the human race
Think about what you do, do you want to be a disgrace?
Just look at what you do in life, do you deserve your place? Do you?

He said this world is just like a school, and it can trick the fool
Catch those that were so cruel, put them to one side
He said this life was just a test, and everyone would be assessed
You would have to do your best, to win your ride

He said there was a life beyond, for all of those that did respond
He gave his word and gave his bond, that they would live again
It would be a paradise, filled with everything so nice
There would be no sacrifice, and there would be no pain

Just give it some thought, do you want to save your face?
It’s all for one or all for none, we are the human race
Think about what you do, do you want to be a disgrace?
Just look at what you do in life, do you deserve your place? Do you?

It was all about the soul, love and kindness was the goal
We were all just like a shoal, that moved from place to place
It’s just life technology, just beyond this reality
Just like fish swimming in the sea, we moved about in space

We have to keep the purity, we have to maintain quality
We have to preserve the sanctity, for all our sakes
This is why we draw a line, this is why there comes a time
But just show a little shine, that’s all it takes

Cos you don’t have to be perfect, nobody does expect
Everyone we can accept, but only if you try
If you can show some decency, if you can show some humanity
You will have your clemency, on that you can rely

We are the human race, from somewhere there in outer space
Ever searching for a place, where we can make a home
We go on to another world, making all our dreams unfold
Turning silver into gold, ever free to roam
