We know this world has problems, and everyone can see
They’re largely caused by those in charge who lack decency behave immorally
Some are so bad, they’re not fit to run the show
They lead us into places, where we don’t want to go

The ordinary people, just want a quiet life
A chance to live side by side (peacefully), without (any) all the strife
But it seems we cannot have it, because of those who lead
It seems they can’t be trusted, cos (and) they’re full of dirty deed

There’s always one, who wants to start a war
But then you have to wonder what are we (is the) fighting for?
They seem to revel in their violent tyranny
But do they really speak for our / the majority

Stand up, and be counted
Put your hand up, if you want peace on Earth
Round up, let’s get mounted
Turn the sound up, and show we have some worth

We know there are those who lead, who like to play a game
Sacrificing people’s lives, we know they are to blame
Their twisted minds and egos, are verging on insane
They don’t care who they tread on, or who they’re causing pain

They worm into power, they say they’re fit to lead
But they lead us into trouble, driven on by greed
They ruin life on Earth, for each and everyone
Degrading what we have, and spoiling all the fun

We can’t have those who lead, behaving like a child
Or acting like an animal, still living in the wild
It’s time for those in charge, to be responsible
Let’s get this world to function, for the sake of one and all
