Floating in space, so quiet, not a sound
And in the distance there's a planet spinning round
Earth looks so beautiful, and peaceful from above
Is this a haven for your love?

What would you think of all you see
If you came to visit from another galaxy
Would you be impressed, with the way that we behave?
Would you think that we're so brave?

As you get closer it is not before too long
You can't help but notice that so many things are wrong
What is the problem with the people living there?
They don't know how to share!

Some are so greedy that they spoil it for the rest
Some want to exploit others and undertake conquest
Some want to invade other people’s lands
Cos they just don’t understand

It matters what is right, as everybody knows
And everyone's opinion should be processed as it goes
We should respect another person’s right to choose
Just for themself, if they’re the only one to lose
We have to learn to live and let live
We have to learn to share and to give
We have to understand that it is wrong to fight
All through the day and night

We must be mad, to go on fighting here
It must be bad, if we can't work it out, work it out

We have the space and enough food for everyone
Materials to build and a stable healthy warming sun
Crops that will yield and fuel to keep us on the run
