- All people should be able to have a direct say in individual issues, however great or small
- With the aid of professional advice, explanation and sensible debate, people should be able to decide what they want for their future, their children's future and for the future of their country

System
CYCLOPS is a system aimed at combining all people's communications and recording people's ideas and levels of preference on any issue that can or should arise for debate. It will see with the one majority eye, or majority aye, the majority view or one truth which will enable the Government and local authorities to act accordingly to make sure that the people get what they want, thus enabling the prevalence of a truly democratic system and society.
Politicians and experts can put the pros and the cons, laying out the case, and anyone else who thinks they have a valid viewpoint can also communicate their view. People can then decide for themselves what they think is best and all people can vote for what they would like to see rather than being forced to accept anything less.
The CYCLOPS' project is about the people of the United Kingdom taking some responsibility and will enable people to stress their feeling to governments and local authorities on particular issues and get some consideration without being forced to take excessive action such as marching, striking, blockading, or rioting. Let's face it, it would be difficult to do a worse job than the politicians have done!
